Does God Have You Absolutely, Without Limitations?

“I will give your life to you as a prize in all places, wherever you go.” —Jeremiah 45:5 “This is the firm and immovable secret of the Lord to those who trust Him– “I will give your life to you….” What more does a man want than his life? It is the essential thing. “…your life…as a prize…” means that wherever you may go, even if it is into hell, you will come out with your life and nothing can harm it. So many of us are caught up in exhibiting things for others to see, not showing off property… read more…

More Than a Conqueror

I had a freak accident. I wanted to get up out of my chair and I shoved the ottoman in front of my chair with my left leg. Something happened in my leg. With that one movement, I pulled my quadriceps.. And listen, this was not a month ago…it was 22 months ago. I have seen a doctor, an orthopedic doctor, a chiropractor and a physical therapist. They all give me a little piece of the puzzle, but I am only a little bit better. I can’t put on my shoe or sock on my left foot and I walk… read more…

Keep Me as the Apple of Your Eye

Keep me as the apple of  your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings…” Psalm 17:8 You know when you look into someone’s eyes and the light is just right, you can see a tiny little image of yourself reflected in their pupils? The only way to remove the fear from our lives is to listen to God’s assurance to us. What are you fearing? Take hold of the Father’s assurance, and then say with strong courage, ‘I will… read more…

God has not abandoned you.

“They that know thy name will put their trust in thee:  for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.”  Psalm 9:10 KJV The word “forsaken” in Psalm 9:10 is from עָזַב  – the Hebrew word “azaz” –  which is a verb that could have also been translated left, abandoned or neglected. The people of God are NOT abandoned by God! They are NOT forsaken or left alone or neglected!  However, this verse does not say that that those who seek Him always get what they want. God is not Santa Claus. Sometimes He delays the answer to our prayers. He might not… read more…

Never Once Did I Ever Walk Alone

I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20 “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.” Psalm 27:10 “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38, 39 “Have I not commanded you?
